How can I convert ATRAC files BACK to MP3? - atrac cd player

OK, so everything was great: I have a new MP3 player (Sony NW-A3000) and I loaded all my music with soul. It has worked well until I have a virus that took me to clean my hard drive if you are not the original MP3 and some CD's are a thing of the past.

Is it possible to store ATRAC files to the Sony Walkman device, the MP3s on my PC (with the aim of converting all my music files to a new HDD).

I searched high and low for a file converter with no luck wondered if anyone has had better luck than me?
