Can somebody please give me advice on getting back into the US? - raffia table skirt
In the summer of 1999 I was in Brooklyn, New York City and Inglewood, CA. Later this year, I went to Jamaica and had a series of deep layers of raffia approximately given as a souvenir. On landing back in London (where I live), the customs officials found small bags of cocaine in each of the mats (total amount of cocaine was just under 2 pounds). I knew nothing about the cocaine, but was convicted of knowingly "concerned ..." and have a child 11 years in prison, despite the lack of criminal record. I was innocent of an offense, but a result of this conviction I find it almost impossible for the United States to enter into my British passport. Has anyone any idea how I can avoid this problem, so you can join my friends (ladies and back) Brooklyn?
